Similar Evolution of Styles in Physics and Painting

Through briefly reviewing the developing history of physics and painting, we reveal that the styles of physics research and painting underwent a similar evolution, namely, changing from a description of reality to an exhibition of the inner world and from a passive copy of nature to an active expression of emotion, during which our personal emotion and consciousness got more and more involved. This actually reflected the awakening of self‐awareness as well as the enhancement of the confidence of human beings.
