Comment on “Mixed‐Number Lorentz Transformation”

In a recent article [Phys. Essays 16, 530 (2003)] Md. Shah Alam and M.H. Ahsan used mixed‐number algebra to reformulate the Lorentz transformation. The proposed equation is basically incorrect. It should be replaced, for instance, by the pertinent well‐known equation from Pauli spinor algebra.
