On another inconsistency in special relativity

In this paper, a recently published inconsistency in special relativity referred to as the light speed paradox is discussed. It takes the form of an inconsistency in the Lorentz transformations where light speed determined using the transformations in two different approaches yield two different answers. A more straightforward proof of the inconsistency is presented and Selleri’s resolution of the issue is again highlighted.

 

Dans cet article, nous discutons d'une incohérence récemment publiée dans la relativité restreinte, appelée paradoxe de la vitesse de la lumière. Cela prend la forme d'une incohérence dans les transformations de Lorentz où la vitesse de la lumière déterminée en utilisant les transformations dans deux approches différentes donne deux réponses différentes. Une preuve plus simple de l’incohérence est présentée et la résolution du problème par Selleri est à nouveau mise en évidence.
