Considerations of Quantum Ergodic Systems and Biquaternion Quantum Mechanics

A quantum mechanical system (S) is discussed in which a transition from quantum mechanics to statistical quantum mechanics is required and characterized by an averaging process. It is shown that the wave function Ψ(t) of (S) involves the use of biquaternions in order to collapse, and a violation of ergodic conditions is evidenced.
