A revision of the principle of relativity

In this paper, some questions connected with the time dilation effect are discussed. A thought experiment is presented in which it has been proven that on the basis of the trajectory of a laser pulse in a moving frame of reference (spaceship) with a constant velocity, it is possible to determine the direction of movement and speed of the system with respect to the velocity of light. It has also been shown how this statement could be experimentally confirmed. We conclude that Einstein's principle of relativity needs a revision.

Cet article traite de certains problèmes liés à l'effet de dilatation du temps. On a présenté une expérience de pensée montrant que sur la base de la trajectoire de l'impulsion laser dans un référentiel en mouvement (l'engin spatial) se déplaçant à une vitesse constante, on peut déterminer sa vitesse et direction du mouvement par rapport à la vitesse de la lumière. Une confirmation expérimentale de cette affirmation a été aussi présentée. Nous concluons alors que le principe de la relativité d'Einstein doit être revu.
