Gravitational Radiation Antenna Backgrounds and Cross‐Sections

Backgrounds of pulses have been observed in the output of gravitational radiation antennas for several decades. Evidence is presented for concluding that gravitational radiation associated with the gamma‐ray events has produced a significant fraction of the observed backgrounds.
