We show a direct manifestation of the incompleteness of the quantum‐mechanical description in interference experiments using fast beam choppers and macroscopic grids. We also discuss the origin of this incompleteness and suggest that for further investigation, we need to experimentally analyze the reduction of the wave‐function in detail, as well as theoretically.
