Antiprotonic Helium and the Hyperspherical Elliptic Coordinates
Department of Applied Physics and Chemistry, University of Electro‐Communications, 1‐5‐1 Chofu‐ga‐oka, Chofu‐shi, Tokyo 182‐8585 Japan
The hyperspherical elliptic coordinates method is described, and its specific application to metastable states of antiprotonic helium is discussed. A note on the role of the hyperradius in the parameterization of the ubiquitous breathing mode is given, employing the atomic Bose‐Einstein condensate as a pedagogical example.
